What We Offer

Artist-Led Design Workshops

Our workshops extend the studio's approach to making, material research, and sensory design. Facilitated by Annie and SJ, each session offers a hands-on introduction to processes that encourage observation, experimentation, and learning through making.

We work with companies, design studios, museums, universities, schools, and cultural organizations. Workshops are available in person and virtually and can be adapted to different groups, settings, and objectives.

Workshops can be offered as a single session or developed as a series exploring a material, process, or theme over multiple sessions.

Cyanotype Printing on Fabric

An introduction to the cyanotype process through textile printing. Participants learn the fundamentals of this early photographic technique while creating original fabric prints through exposure, composition, and material exploration.

Each workshop can be developed around a different theme, using materials such as native plants, found objects, personal artifacts, or experimental forms. The process invites participants to explore image-making through hands-on making, resulting in unique textiles.

Custom Workshops

We develop custom workshops that draw from our studio's practice in tactile furniture, sensory design, and material research. Sessions can be created around a specific material, process, concept, or site, and are developed in collaboration with each organization or event.

Workshop formats may explore areas such as textile construction, fabric dyeing, surface design, object casting, soft sculpture, material upcycling, found materials, sketching and visual thinking, prototyping, and experimental fabrication.

Each program is tailored to the participants, setting, and goals.
