Artist-Led Workshops
Annie and SJ facilitate artist-led workshops that bring people together through hands-on making, sensory exploration, and embodied experience. Rooted in groupsports’ studio practice, workshops invite participants to play, explore materials, and connect with one another through the process of making.
Based in Los Angeles, we work with cultural organizations, creative teams, companies, retreat and hospitality spaces, museums, universities, and schools. Custom workshops are available in person and virtually as single sessions or multi-session programs.
Workshops can be adapted for different audiences, group sizes, and settings.
Workshops
Cyanotype Printing on Fabric
An introduction to cyanotype printing on fabric through textile-based image making. Participants explore exposure, composition, and material transformation while creating original fabric works.
Workshops can be developed around themes such as native plants, found objects, personal artifacts, or site-specific materials.
Wind Chime Making Workshop
A hands-on exploration of sound, movement, and material through the creation of wind-activated objects. Participants work with natural and found materials to create objects that respond to wind, weather, and outdoor environments.
